Next in the Pondero Winchester Talk series is Skater in the Park. Hampshire Author, Susana Cory-Wright, joins us for an exclusive preview of her latest novel, Skater in the Park, to be published by Troubador early 2027. The book is based on the real-life Madge Syers, who was the first woman to win a gold at the 1908 summer Olympics. Susana Cory-Wright was born in Canada and came to Britain as a child. She has a PhD in English, and her thesis was the inspiration for the biography Maud Beerbohm Tree, Lady of the Stage, published by Legenda in 2018. She is the author of The Catalan House and The London Wife; Skater in the Park is her ninth novel. As with every session, we will kick off with good coffee and networking before the talk begins.
